As a biased advocate of floorplans, I have battled for years with letting agents suggesting that floorplans would be a value added service for rental properties, and have bowed down to those in the field whose usual response is that they have already lined up a tenant before even having advertised. Tenants have not expected or even requested plans in this sector until now. The Covid 19 crisis has made everyone think about the way that they conduct their business mindful of social distancing, and the physical viewing is now something both landlords and tenants have issues with. The floorplan now becomes a vital tool for streamlining actual viewings to suitable parties and eliminating those who are unsuited, potentially saving time and effort to the landlord and agent. Furthermore it is a clear indication to potential landlords that you, as a letting agent are surpassing the services offered by the majority of your competitors, while keeping everybody as safe as possible. A very strong argument now to buck the trend.
